About Us
Vantage Foundation envisions improved livelihoods in communities in Uganda and Africa. Currently, our focus is assisting young people in Uganda to achieve their full potential.
We are a youth-led non-profit organization that empowers young people in Uganda by creating opportunities for them. We have a strong mission and vision to help young people achieve their goals.
Our story is just like any other for young people: our lives started small and just like a forest fire, just one match will do the job.
We are work of progress that holds a candle for those that are younger than us because we can relate and through this we have become revolutionaries.

SaveGirl Uganda
SaveGirl Uganda, our very first project founded in 2021 is a mentoring campaign that aims at achieving particular goals which tackle period poverty and uplift the confidence, financial freedom, and life skills of young women in rural areas by working with volunteers.
With our partners, we have been able to work with about 500 young women and men in rural and run-down areas of Uganda through various initiatives under this.
SaveGirl Uganda began as an online campaign on a crowd-funding site. The money collected would be used to buy sanitary pads that would be distributed to young women in rural areas.
Later, the structure of the campaign was rethought to a more impactful, inclusive and durable approach which is mentor-ship.

Menstrual Cups
In 2023, we launched the menstrual cups project under SaveGirl Uganda. We received the UN-recommended Lunette menstrual cups as a donation from our partners, The Cup Foundation.
The menstrual cup is a relatively uncommon product despite its profound benefits, including eco-friendliness, flexibility, and comfort.
The menstrual cup requires proper training for usage and it can be used from 5-10 years. It can be used by women of all ages and has got over 80% acceptability with users.

Advantage Book Club
Launched in August 2022, The ABC aims at interesting the youth with a passion to seek relevant knowledge to harness their full potentials.
In a system whose capacity to avail the necessary education for accelerated development is crippled, the young people ought to take up the mantle and seek out knowledge to make themselves reach their capabilities.
The ABC is an opportunity for young people to expand their knowledge through already existing, proven and influential self development books that are out there.
This gives a chance to young people who would not have had the opportunity to access this particular genre through out their education.
